My mother has cancer. We found out in January of this year. She's had one lung removed and now she has brain cancer. She is doing well but now the doctors are unhappy. They've found bigger and more tumors in her remaining lung. I'm so frightened. I feel like a little girl and I have to be the adult here. Thanksgiving is coming up and my mother was/is the matriarch of that holiday. I have to step up this year and cook some of the food, something I cannot do that well. I just don't want her to be sicker... at all...but esp. near the holidays.

What can I do? I've seen "What the Bleep" and "The Secret." What tenants can I use from those films and ideas to deal with this horrific thing?

Any advice would help.

In the meantime, anything you can do... if you pray... or send Reiki... or meditate.... or light a candle....anything that you can do for my mother, Sheila, would be appreciated.
